Budapest Street Food Show
Budapest Street Food Show is a relatively recently launched festival where some of the best street foods are on display and on offer. The entry is free, the food festival is in the city center, so you can comfortably make a detour to visit the event for some good bites.
The weekend food festival will take place in the lesser known historical market hall in downtown Budapest, in Hold Street. Try what we locals eat on the go, and more, enjoy the food at real life food counters, standing casually, breathing in the lively atmosphere of the market and the festival. In addition to the Hungarian street foods, there will be several food specialties offered by local cafes, confectioneries and local food bloggers.
The name of the market hall is known as Hold Utca Market Hall. The building is like a smaller brother of the biggest Budapest Market Hall, the Great Market Hall by the river Danube (at Liberty Bridge).
If you love to get to know the local food culture, this event is an ideal program during your Budapest visit, when the top Budapest festivals should definitely be on your radar.
