Budapest Festivals in November

November festivals in the city are both indoor and outdoor festivals despite the cold days in Budapest. The festival of the month are probably the Budapest International Guitar Festival.  Delight for the ears on those gloomy, rainy November days.

Magic Bath Parties in Budapest in November: 3, 7, 14 and 24, 2018 in Szechenyi Baths. Budapest is famous for its thermal baths and that its inhabitants love to party, therefore combining the two is no surprise. Literally, dive into Budapest’s nightlife in the well-known Lukacs Baths while DJs playing electro, trip-hop, hip-hop, funk and trance music with light, video, laser visual effects and enjoy the unlimited alcohol.

Baby & Mom Fair Budapest: Babies, moms, dads and siblings can spend a nice day in this baby friendly show and market in Budapest Sports Arena: 16-18 November, 2018

Budapest Christmas Market on Vorosmarty Square: the traditional Budapest Advent and Christmas Fair, ranked among the 10 most attractive fairs in Europe. Market in the heart of the city with many craft stalls, free concerts, nice mulled wines, winter fair and delicious scents. 9 Nov – 31 December, 2018

Budapest International Guitar Festival: Annual event dedicated to guitar performances with open workshops and concerts. Dates are not confirmed for 2018 yet

St. Martin’s Day Festival: 11 November, 2018, countrywide. Every November 11th, the Magyars commemorate St. Martin, one of Hungary’s patron saints born within this nation’s boundaries, while celebrations spread countrywide with gluttonous holiday gatherings.

New Wine and Cheese Festival Budapest, Vajdahunyad Castle: dates are not confirmed for 2018 yet. Special Hungarian Wines and handmade Cheese Festival.

Cake and Pastry Festival in Budapest in Millenaris Park.

Budapest Tattoo Convention: one day event showcasing some of Hungary’s best tattoo artists and entertainers. Freak Show, workshops, seminars and concerts in Akvarium Club. This year in February.

Noise Anatomy Festival: noise anatomy is a mixture of poetry+noise+visual+effects+techno+industrial. Experimental music on an innovative festival, be a forward-thinker so not get behind in the music industry. Durer Garden. Not scheduled for 2018 yet.

Total Dance Festival: the very best of the 90’s with participants like Dr Alban, Vengaboys, Dj Sash. Address is 1101 BUDAPEST, Albertirsai ut 10. HUNGEXPO – G Arena. Date: not scheduled for 2018 yet.

PlayIT Gamer Show & Expo in Budapest with lots of mobile and video games to try, buy. Venue of the festival is Hungexpo Budapest Fair Center. Date: not scheduled for 2018 yet.

Budapest Christmas events show a vast array of cultural, gastro and musical events, festivals, fairs, concerts, shows (Nutcracker, and other shows), festive dinners and cruises. Be part of the Christmassy feeling of our city!

There are two beautiful Christmas markets, one by Cafe Gerbeaud and the other one by the St Stephen Cathedral. The Christmas market on Vorosmarty ter opens usually weeks before the Advent, while the Xmas fair at the Cathedral is open from Advent to January 1 or 2.
