April festivals in Budapest are focusing mostly on welcoming the spring with music, dance, gastro events, and general cultural merriment. Easter events are highly featured on the Budapest April festival list.

Budapest Easter Fair on Vorosmarty Square: depending on the moving dates of Easter, the nice spring fair is in downtown Budapest with free concerts, nice foods and drinks, and Hungarian spring/ Easter crafts and other artisan items that make great gifts / souvenirs. Date: 29 March – 28 April, 2019.
Budapest Bath Parties in April, Budapest Szechenyi Spa & Baths – every Saturday night enjoy the special thermal bath party series while soaking in the thermal spring waters. Buy your tickets in advance to get a place. All weekends on Saturdays in April. Dates: 6, 13, 20, 27 in April, 2019.
Hungarian Folk Dance Festival & Fair in Budapest Papp Laszlo Sports Arena: the event is part of the Budapest Spring Festival, also the biggest Hungarian folk dance gathering in and outside Hungary. The festival also includes a nice folk fair with lots of artisan crafts at an affordable price.

Budapest Art Week Festival – contemporary arts are featured in this art festival in Budapest. Pont Festival Budapest is actually part/ a companion of the prestigious Budapest Spring Festival welcoming the current cultural breezes to Hungary. This year the theme of the festival is the Balkan, its culture and music brought to Budapest Buda Castle Garden Bazaar (Varkert Bazar, just under the Buda Castle buildings). Dates: Apr 13-14, 2019.
Half Marathon Running Race Budapest: spring sports festivals are always popular among locals and visitors. On this half marathon you can run to protect the values of Budapest city and its citizens. The sports event (Telekom Vivicitta) takes place in a nice and scenic spring scenery on an island in the river Danube – with various lengths for all ages on the scenic green island in the middle of the Danube Margaret Island. 14 April, 2019.
VINCE Budapest Wine Show: 160 exhibitors in the event, from Hungary and neighbouring countries and a few wineries from further away also offer their wines for tasting. Date: 25-27 April, 2019 in the scenic Buda Castle Garden Bazaar by the river Danube.
Budapest International Book Fair: the literary festival of books (and ebooks) is set in April annually in Budapest city in the contemporary halls of Millenaris Center on the Buda side of Budapest.
Cultural Anthropology Days (Szimbiozis Napok) is a series of events occurring annually in April or May. There are chats, concerts, workshops, etc. Many well known and hidden cultures get a chance to present themselves in this truly international event in Budapest.

Obuda Running Festival and Half Marathon. The sports festival is usually set in April, in Budapest’s Old Buda district founded by the Romans. The running lengths vary: 3.5 km to half marathon. Date: April dates not confirmed yet.
Sakura Spring Festival in Budapest: Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival, set when the cherry trees blossom in Hungary some time in April every year, usually the first two weekends. Judafest Jewish Kids Festival / Day Budapest (Morning Event): some time in April the Jewish cultural festival for children brings excitement for a few hours in the Jewish Quarter in Budapest city. Budapest Easter Festival and Mini Fair in Vajdahunyad Castle: normally every Easter weekend in Budapest, March or April, depending when Easter Monday / Sunday is. Date: April dates not confirmed yet.

Budapest Dance Festival, the festival of contemporary dances in Budapest is normally but not always set around the International Day of Dance on April 29. Location: theaters and other venues mostly in the National Dance Theatre in Budapest. Dates: 15 February – 2 March, 2019 .
Budapest 100, Celebration of 100-Year Old Buildings: unique buildings, many cultural and historic monuments can be visited on 2 days, but this year it’s not in April. Date: 4-5 May, 2019

Hello Bianca, the dates of the Easter Spring Fair on Vorosmarty Square Budapest in 2016 are March 25 and April 24. There will be genuine folk crafts on offer, as well as cultural programs featuring traditional Hungarian folk culture.
Are you sure about the dates of the Titanic Film Festival in April 2017? They are the same dates as 2016, and the link takes you to the 2016 website.
